The skillet heats so evenly, I finally got perfectly golden cornbread without any burnt spots on the bottom. Having both Dutch oven sizes means I can braise a whole chicken or just make a small batch of soup without wasting space.

The skillet heats so evenly I’ve stopped worrying about hot spots, and the Dutch oven’s lid fits perfectly to lock in moisture for soups. My only slight surprise was the weight—it’s hefty, but that’s what makes it feel durable.
