After a few months of my carbon steel pan developing uneven seasoning, this wax blend of rice bran and high-smoke point oils finally gave me that slick, dark patina I'd been chasing. It goes on smooth and doesn't leave that sticky residue other waxes can.
The wax melted smoothly onto my pan and really filled in those tiny scratches I had been worried about. After two rounds, my eggs are sliding around like they’re on ice.
Wiped this on after a thorough seasoning, and the rice bran wax base made the pan feel silky smooth without any sticky residue. First egg slide right off.
