The stitching around the edges is really clean and tight, so it doesn't fray at all when I slide it on and off the press. I like that the leather adds a bit of grip, instead of that slippery metal feel, and it protects against scratches when I store it on the counter.

These covers fit my grill press so snugly that I forget they weren’t made for it, and the leather already has a nice, warm patina after just a few cooks. My hand doesn’t slip at all now, even when the press gets a little greasy.
