That 5-ply construction is no joke—water’s boiling before I even finish chopping the onions. The even heat up the walls means no scorched spots on the bottom, which is my usual pot curse.
I've had cheaper pots that took forever to get water moving, but this one hits a full boil almost before I've finished chopping an onion. The heat spreads so evenly through those 5-ply walls that I never worry about scorching the bottom of my soups.
The 5-ply walls really do make a difference — my soup went from cold to bubbling in what felt like no time at all. Even the sides distribute heat evenly, so nothing scorches along the edge when I'm making a big batch of chili.
